What The Legends Play
Something dawned on me today after reading long pieces by some notable writers out of pure interest for my love reading and expressing myself through writing. As I was perusing through the words that made my mind’s image at the time, I sat back and thought about the pure awe of all the people that have gone by and made an influence in our lives. No matter how big or minuscule, influence given in any form is something which I believe to be special. To a family member, to a friend, we all have influences on who we are and who we become just hoping to stumble onto the rocky fields to happiness. As I thought about the influences of our world that shaped it into what it is today, though not perfect, a thought raced. Starting small, and slowly building up to encompass the very fabric of thought, I began. My mind cycled through all these names, zooming by as I tried to catch up. Thinking of each person in their own light, I could not help but abscond from the very confines of reality and just imagine: what game would each of these legends favor to play? Through the feature here, I will provide a nice summary on whom each of these people are for the unfamiliar, followed by a game title that they would have loved to play the most if they were all coexistent in current times. The titles might consist of releases from every generation, though not all of them. Remember, this is only part 1. I’m looking to have around 4 parts to this feature series.
Final Fantasy XI Review
Final Fantasy XI is not a new game but it is a new MMO for PS2. The new PS2 version of the game is identical, to the point where you can freely transfer your player character between the different versions of the game. Yet while it is the same Final Fantasy XI, the context is completely different. Despite the fact that the PC gaming market is oversaturated with massively multiplayer online role-playing games, many PS2 owners have never experienced such a game before. The PC is the better platform for Final Fantasy XI, and to properly enjoy it on your PS2, you will need to pay $100 for the PS2 hard disk drive (the game comes included) and $40 for a PS2 network adapter if you do not already have one. Plus you will need a USB keyboard hooked up to your console to communicate with other players. On top of this, Final Fantasy XI is a time-consuming game that requires monthly fees associated with it. For some players, the unique experience that Final Fantasy XI provides is worth the money, and time.
God of War II Review: Kratos Fury
Kratos is back, and he’s angrier than ever. As the sequel to 2005′s action adventure title, God of War, God of War II sets within the basic realm of Greek mythology. We will start off by summing up God of War II in one word: spectacular. The game continues the anger management failure and rage of the odyssey of the world’s meanest man-god, Kratos, as he goes on another vengeance spree. God of War II is an excellent sequel to an unforgettable masterpiece of mythology and action adventure.
