Recently, Alan Wake’s Remedy Entertainment developer has once again confirmed to us directly that there will not be a PC version of the already enticing psychological thriller that is the life and pages of Alan Wake. Alan Wake finds the pages in his story coming alive, speckled with a unique art-thriller game episodic mechanic that Xbox 360 and PC fans have been waiting for since its mysterious announcement teaser back at E3 2005 (an unfortunate event we had the pleasure to cover by getting trampled by fans). While this news may come as a disappointment to PC owners, Xbox 360 owners are widely thrilled.
There are three central things that make Alan Wake exciting to me:
- Episodic Art Direction
I can’t say I’m disappointed. I was going to get it for PC and 360. If people really want to play it, from what I have read and seen at Comic Con, this is still going to be off the ‘shizzle.’ If people want to play it so badly, they just gatta pick up a Xbox 360.

Thanks Jamal! We are sure PC owners would love to agree with you.
