Battery Low? Try ATI PowerXpress

Don’t you just hate it when your laptop is about to crap out because you’re using a high mobility graphics solution just for a simple site? Realizing this 2 hours in, you have to reboot to change to the other less powerful solution for more life. But, not anymore.

As a brother ATI Hybrid Graphics Technology for notebook computers, ATI PowerXpress lets notebook users automatically switch between an ATI Mobility Radeon™ HD 3400 series discrete graphics processor and an integrated AMD M780G with ATI Radeon™ HD 3200 graphics without rebooting every time.

Forced reasoning. What will switching it do? Get better batteries in those pieces of crap

I agree. Make the batteries more stable than this.

Great stuff. Need these type of laptops. Hate rebooting on the AMD platforms.

Better batteries wouldn’t need this. Better batteries + this will be ideal.

Weird :) my batteries don’t die out so much but this would make me feel so much safer

Hybrid Technology is key here people. Allowing for a cross fusion without a reboot saves time and effort. Both on manufacturing and cost
