As more and more gets painted, the music in the background becomes mare and mare peppy. Best of all is the game has different sounds for different colored blobs (An example of this is orange adds a trumpet while as red gives off vocal harmonies). Puddles of ink are all over the city and will drain your health if it gets on your blob, in which you must immediately find a fountain or pool of water to rinse off in, or your blob will die. There are 10 stages in the game that are relatively on an open timer giving you time to free paint, search for pick ups, and and focus on missions. These missions involve racing, painting buildings certain colors, rescuing multi colored citizens from prison, sabotaging landmark, and more.

While De Blob is showing some pretty funny promises, it’s crucial that the gameplay elements hold up deeper into the game. I am definitely looking forward to see how this title works out. What if this game blows your mind? What if it doesn’t? So far, it’s completely Blobtastic. That’s a good thing!
