GTA IV: A Whole New World

Strolling Never Felt Like This

I’m Not There

The pure choice of New York City (under the misnomer of Liberty City) is unsoiled in that there are just so many things that make not only the city itself memorable, but also the foundation definition of the gameplay reliable and preferable. Top it off with an Eastern European character with an unsullied set of eyes and you have yourself something original, and inventive to the limits. Yeah, there are limits. Everything is essential here, and most of it is new and exciting. From the comedy clubs, to strip clubs, and literally every building consisting of in-door environments leaves discovery to an unparalleled amount recognized. Hey, don’t frown! There are traditional elements in this game. Without those, where would be after all? There are stunt jumps, incessant side missions that are varied every time, and plenty more to do that is balanced perfectly, and doesn’t sacrifice the realism of it all.

We Totally Made This. We Call It: Night Hopping

Aside from the primary environment detail is the key detail to the sheer audio in the game which plays such a significant role. The sheer dialogue between characters is something magical and unique, and ever changing. Pedestrians swear with feeling, express relief with a sigh, anger with just the right touch of angst, and everything on from there. The streets themselves are rustling with busy activity, people going about their normal lives: homeless people, birds taking a crap, taxi drivers yelling, laptop nerds at their local coffee buck, and people talking on their phones. The music of GTA IV consists of a majority of unknown artists, and brings the modern mood to the atmosphere. From all this, to every step you take in Liberty City, there is a sense of euphoria that takes over.
