Haze Review: A Spectacle For Some The Masses
The Key
Free Radical’s Haze does quite a few things right, and then manages to shove it down with badly executed concepts reminiscent to Assassin’s Creed. While Free Radical is known for classics such as the TImesplitters series, Haze doesn’t live up to the company’s standards due to not so interesting gameplay mechanics, and a bit more of a mediocre story. Something which really begs the question of: Is this really an exclusive title to the PS3? The lack of focus is a bit overwhelming, and can really seem a bit fuzzy for a title solely on one console. Haze is really a spectacle in terms of where the cases of different tastes really come to play though. While the key things such as the Nectar System and the story are unmemorable, players who love interaction and online components will find Haze to be a gem despite the gameplay flaws. Whatever the case, everyone should try to put on a Mantel suit for the first time and give the game a try as any other game.
