Iraqi Cleric Used To Be Gamer, Jack Thompson Blows Load

I don’t know about you guys, but whenever I think powerful, militant cleric I do not think gamer. I rarely think, but that’s besides the point. Which is why this game Politics Article is so interesting. It states that Shiite Cleric Muqtada al-Sadr is a hardcore gamer!

As a young seminary student, his nickname was Mulla Atari, because he preferred video games to studying the Quran. Now, Muqtada al-Sadr is a radical cleric revered by millions of poor Shiites as a modern-day Robin Hood. He also may be the most powerful man in Iraq.

I bet Jack Thompson is shitting bricks right now. I can just imagine what kids must’ve said to him growing up. “You stupid gamer, you’ll never amount to anything. As for me, I’m going to be rich marketing asbestos-laden cars! When it crashes, you won’t catch on fire!” I bet those guys have wild high school reunions. What caused him to give up the gaming life? I bet he got E.T. on his birthday. That game can kill just about any gamer.
