Sega and Obsidian Hand In Hand To Deliver Sexy Spy RPG

You asked for more RPG’s, you all got it. Sega combines forces with Neverwinter Nights 2 developer Obsidian to bring a “modern day espionage RPG” to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PCs slated for 2009. Alpha Protocol is the name of the upcoming title, and is the second Obsidian RPG that Sega will be publishing. Obsidian is widely known for debuting with the ever popular series: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic with the second iteration (II), is also currently developing an RPG based on the slimy Aliens series of films that will also be published by Sega.

Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart had this to say:

“Alpha Protocol blends Obsidian’s knack for intricate stories, engrossing characters, and significant character advancement with fast-paced modern combat. Loyalty carries a price and no one knows this more than agent Michael Thorton. A talented young agent cast out by his government, Thorton is the only one with the information needed to stop an impending international catastrophe. To do so means he must cut himself off from the very people he is sworn to protect. As players determine how to accomplish different objectives, the decisions made and actions taken in each mission will ultimately transform the type of secret agent Michael Thorton will become. Every choice the player makes as Michael Thorton will carry consequences for his future and the fate of the world.”

I'm all about one thing: reviews that are easy to understand and make sense of.
