Six Tracks To Make You Dance In Rockband

Are you ready for more Rock Band magic? Harmonix and MTV Games have announced that it will be adding something special to its downloadable content: the legendary recording group Boston. Hell yeah it’s Boston! On March 25, 2008 six of the album’s classic tracks will be up for download in the Boston Pack, Featuring: “Hitch a Ride”, “More Than a Feeling” , “Peace of Mind”, “Rock and Roll Band”, “Smokin”, and “Something About You”. Good choice Harmonix. Boston’s self-titled debut has sold more than seventeen million copies.

Release dates include the following:

Tuesday, March 25, 2008(Xbox Live Marketplace)

Thursday, March 27, 2008(Playstation Network)

In addition to all of this is over 130 tracks on disc or via download purchase. While we sit here on our butts informing all of you about this, Rock Band continues to fly off the shelves of our beloved stores, and satisfy customers’ voracious appetite for more rock. Boasting that over six million songs have been purchased since its initial launch in November of 2007. The new Rock Band Music Store allows players to preview and purchase downloadable individual music without ever having to quite to the 360 Dashboard or the Playstation XMB to build their own custom Rock Band library. What if it was a Black Sabbath Pack being released? We can say that it would probably sell like water does on a hot summer day. Seeing as Boston and Black Sabbath were one of the best rock bands in the 70s, it only seems natural that they would do a double pack for these groups. We can only hope to see a double release pack of both these bands. Until then, try not to break your foot peddle on the drum set before the Boston Pack hits us in a few days.
