Sound Blaster: X-Fi Titanium Review
Benchmark # 2- Extreme Fidelity
You’re listening to music, but something doesn’t feel quite right. Here is where the Extreme Fidelity comes in. By increasing clarity, sharpness, volume level, and normalization, the Extreme Fidelity implementation within the remarkable sound card itself gives enthusiasts an ultimate awe experience. We tested Extreme Fidelity using tracks provided to us by Parlophone through Coldplay’s: Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends album.
First we did a FLAC rip of these tracks to chart the audible flange graph. You know the red and orange graph that charts the frequency over the time interval of the frequency range. Then we did a lossy compress to V0 and that results in a graph that’s a tad lower in peak frequency values. The sounds ready to be challenged allowed Xtreme Fidelity to open its glaring eyes to the peak values as a worthy adversary. The Xtreme Fidelity overcame. The chart below shows the final audible graph after recording in the same lossy compression. The values were significantly higher and much narrower as can be seen, which means sound quality did improve as a result of the Xtreme Fidelity that comes with the X-Fi Titanium. The feature urges to be used by those who strive for nothing but better sound.

Hahha. I was thinking the same. Mighty fine. Can tell it’s in a studio because it has like light reflectors on 1 previous image. Definitely not cheap
Going to buy in 3 hrs. Thanks WiG
