Bionic Commando Rearmed Review: Swinging Is Better
Twenty years ago, many of you weren’t even born. For many longtime gamers of the original NES classic Bionic Commando, this clingy title still holds a warm place in the heart. Cherished for its difficulty, Bionic Commando: Rearmed is a 8-bit classic revamp that comes in the form of a next generation tune up that keeps all the greatness from the days gone by to modernize it, and adds various new bad ass challenges for you to shoot, swing, and grapple. Remakes are usually never enough, and Capcom realizes this to undeniably recreate one of the best remade downloadable games on XBLA and PSN to date.
CAPTIVATE ‘08: It’s A Great Lineup
We all hear the great lineup Capcom’s got going: RE 5, SF IV, Bionic Commando. So what’s their own view on it? We got in touch with Capcom’s UK marketing director Michael Pattison today following a Q&A.
We’ve had a fantastic 2007, but it’s the line-up for 2008 that is most exciting as it is possibly the strongest in our long history. Competition is fierce, but Capcom will more compete and come out on top. We are determined to continue to innovate, delivering new entertainment experiences to our consumers on a wide range of formats and mediums.
Kind of the same gist some others got. But good to know.
Capcom Conquers Ninja Dev and MotoGP
When opportunity knocks, Capcom acquires. The Japanese Corp just added a new development team and a license to their line-up. K2 is better known as those dudes behind Tenchu Z, the 360 game that ninja fans enjoyed, but not much else. Capcom also acquired the racing MotoGP series, which was also on the 360 last year. Currently, MotoGP is slated to be released this year for all consoles and handhelds.
