LittleBigPlanet Review: A Planet Just Like Any Other

LittleBigPlanet was heralded as one of the must-have games of the year for 2008 from SCEA and developers Media Molecule. LittleBigPlanet manages to fuse the imagination of the mind and take it to a whole other level in a little, but rather big planet that makes for something truly unique and innovative essentially. The primary gameplay itself is stunning, but like every planet, there are good and bad parts regardless. Even though LittleBigPlanet reaches out to some people, there are a variety of factors that make it for a great experience in the final picture despite being lackluster at some points.

LittleBigPlanet Releasing Early: October 10th, 2008

Yeah. That’s right! The game isn’t slated for October 21st an anonymous developer at SCE tells us. It’s coming in shops for October 10th, 2008. No, not the 7th which would be rare worldwide. The catch? There’s no guarantee every shop will have it ready and stock on the 10th, but it’s looking very good for LittleBigPlanet-ers to get some “leaked” copies. Get ready for the frenzy overload before October 21st, 2008.

Happy now?

LittleBigPlanet EU Beta Begins

So the LittleBigPlanet EU beta has begun, and we already have 10 keys. Yeah yeah, so it’s not 5,000. Then again we don’t do ad campaign or endorse major ad campaigns, so it’s understandable.

So far we only have 2 keys left for any lucky commentors and I know the odds of getting 1 is 2/4 million or .00005th of a million, but go ahead and e-mail one of us. Any of us, and we’ll see what we can do.

LittleBigPlanet Canadian Pre-Order Details

Hey Canadians! Yes that means all you people in Quebec. Want LittleBigPlanet? It’s going to come soon. Start preordering. The only slight downside is you guys only get the Kratos SackBoy and Nariko SackGirl.

And they clearly said the guide is available on the internet. But remember, we reviewed a BradyGames article for GTA IV, and it was jam packed full of information in context you definitely cannot address on the internet’s new age.

WhatIfGaming E3 ‘08 Exclusive Preview: Playing With Alex Evans and LittleBigPlanet Multiplayer

LittleBigPlanet is ridiculous. It’s ridiculously entertaining. You will laugh at it. This laugh, however, is a great laugh that that comes from the additively fun anti-drug administered by Media Molecule, the talent behind Rag Doll Kung Fu. LittleBigPlanet jumps in sackboys to start off that you can begin to customize and make yourself a part of the game in any way. There are obstacles to overcome, challenges to face, and barriers to cross all of which requires a combination of the motion wheel of team work and competition . As players advance in the game, their creative skills will grow and so will their loyalty to such an amazing title. LittleBigPlanet isn’t as little as the title will have you believe and therein itself is the true reality that this video game is something bigger than this planet alone. Something we really can’t understand fully.
