The Ship Review – Bon Voyage au en Memorable Journey

The Ship Review

The Ship is a newly redefined and recreated mod for the old Half-Life mod. With its creative adaptation of the key elements of stealth games to create a really murder simulator, The Ship gives anyone the crave of haunted mystery they have been seeking. While most Steam users probably have Half-Life 2, this is a stand-alone use of the Source engine that’s a required buy for the amount of praise it garners from us and for the simplicity in a gameplay so well balanced.

The Ship Review

With a free ticket you arrive on board The Ship of the luxury cruise. You find yourself on the deck of this particular luxury cruise to discover a group of people were brought to the ship by a mysterious, taciturnly short man in a white suit, calling himself Mister X.  You are forced into a remarkable Hunt to indulge Mr. X’s insatiable fantasies, under threat of death for not only yourself, but also your family. Your only chance to save yourself and your family is to play the Hunt and win.

The Ship Review

The complexity of The Ship is simple, but the depth is provoking. Kill the wrong person and get thrown in jail (for 29 seconds) for having a weapon out in an area with surveillance; you can even just kill your target without rest every round. Essentially a lot of the components of each character are based into a simulation need. They need to eat, they need to sleep, they need to maintain their hygeing, and overall standards while on The Ship. This aspect of simulated realistic gameplay adds to a whole other level when it comes to balancing the actual objectives and the characters in the dynamic storyline itself, one that’s both believable and incredible. Unique art along with the appropriate music for atmosphere help turn the offbeat, dark pleasure of being in a confined space trying to kill off your shipmates one at a time even while they hunt you down, into a Ship that has both beauty and darkness.

The Ship Review

The Ship is essentially a highly immersive, and entertaining murder-mystery game that is online capable only, and is an unbelievable amount of fun when all players put their heart into every character, and every weapon to kill their own opponents with. Either way, they all find a common ground: being a part of a memorable game as this.
