Frictional Games’ upcoming entry of its beloved horror series, Amnesia: The Bunker has been delayed to May 2023. The developers announced the game back in December last year as it targeted a March 2023 release. But, the studio has confirmed that the game will be delayed by a couple of months to May 16.

”The announcement was made via Twitter where it was cited that the development was affected due to the team suffering from sickness during the winter season.” It is important to us to do the game justice, and in light of these halts in production we don’t want to rush the end product. The team is working hard to make The Bunker the best it can be, and a few more weeks will make the necessary difference” says the notice from the team. With a delay of a couple of months, horror fans will have to wait for just a bit longer to play the game.

Amnesia: The Bunker is a game that will bring a new perspective to the franchise as explained by the devs. It will let players explore a semi-open world with their choices holding immense importance. The environment is also described as unscripted. It is said that the ”objects, threats, and resources, change in every playthrough”. Gameplay shown featured the addition of a gun, a first for the series. Players will have to decide how to use it in order to survive.

Amnesia: The Bunker Release Date

Amnesia: The Bunker is scheduled for release on May 16. It will release on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam, GOG, and Epic Games Store.
