Apex Legends Mobile Will Have A Limited Regional Launch

EA has announced a limited regional launch for Apex Legends Mobile in a recent FAQ on their website. This is the first solid event for the mobile version of Apex Legends since the closed beta tests last year. According to the announcement, the limited regional launch will start next week and continue throughout Spring.

Details Regarding the Limited Regional Launch

  • According to the FAQ, Apex Legends mobile will be available for a limited launch in 10 countries on Android and iOS. The countries are Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia, Mexico, Peru, Argentina, and Colombia.Players from these countries will have to sign up via the Google Play Store and App Store to play the game.
  • The Legends that will be available to players are Bloodhound, Gibraltar, Lifeline, Wraith, Bangalore, Octane, Mirage, Pathfinder, and Caustic.
  • Crossplay with PC or Consoles won’t be available.

The minimum requirement for the game has also been posted.

Android:

  • Android 8.1
  • Open GL 3.0 or higher
  • 3 GB free space
  • At least 3 GB RAM
  • Screens size: N/L/XL

iOS:

  • iPhone 6S or later
  • OS version: 10.0 or later
  • CPU: A9
  • 3 GB free space
  • At least 2GB RAM

This is great news for mobile players who want to play this amazing battle royale game. Currently, Apex Legends is going through its 12th season named ‘Defiance‘, which has been received well by the community. The game will also be coming to the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X|S with enhanced graphics and smoother framerates. We might see some content of the new season later on in the mobile version. Perhaps, we will see the future seasons integrated across all platforms including mobile.
