Apex Legends on Playstation 5
Apex Legends is currently playable through backward compatibility on the Playstation 5. The players can play the game at 1440p in performance mode on the PS5 at the moment. EA previously announced the next-gen upgrade for Apex Legends for 2021. But they, later on, said that the next-gen upgrade would come in 2022. Moreover, Apex Legends on Playstation 5 might feature heavy use of the DualSense Controller especially the use of Haptic Feedback. So, it will definitely be worth it to play on the console.
It is also expected that the game will run up at 4K resolution at 60 or 120 frames per second with the next-gen upgrade. Also, if you have played the game on the Playstation 4 the progress will easily carry over to your PS5 without any hassle.
Apex Legends is currently in Season 11 titled Escape. The new season features a map calle Star Point which is quickly becoming a fan favorite in Ranked matches. Adding to that, Ash, who was an antagonist from Titanfall 2 has also become available as an offensive charcter in the game. The game has also included a new Battlepass system along with a few tweaks to the Ranking system. All in all, the game will be a treat to play on the PS5 when it is released.
It’s only a matter of time before we hear an official announcement from EA or Respawn regarding the next-gen version of the game.
