It seems the troubles for Ark 2 will never be over. Announced back in 2020, the sequel to Ark: Survival Evolved was slated for a 2023 release. However, Ark 2 was later delayed to 2024, and now a new delay pushes it even further to 2025. But considering the number of delays it’s facing, did Microsoft make the right move to partner with Studio Wildcard?
Ark 2 Pushed to 2025 – Things Just Got Out of Hand
Wildcard has been having a rough time for quite some time now. Ark: Survival Evolved had easily been one of Steam’s best-rated games until the studio announced the shutting down of servers. Basically, everyone who wishes to continue playing the 2015 title has to buy a remaster and DLCs all over again.
And now things seem to be going even downhill as a fresh new delay pushes Ark 2 to Spring 2025. Digital Domain, partners on Ark 2 with Wildcard has informally revealed through their annual report that Ark 2 will now release in Spring 2025, marking a fresh new delay.
This new development will undoubtedly make the fans even more disappointed who were expecting a 2024 release. The delay while revealed through the annual report hasn’t officially been announced so wait for the final word.
