Ubisoft has just announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage has gone gold. The franchise’s back to its roots title was supposed to launch on October 12, but it’s now releasing a week earlier. Mirage is supposed to be a nostalgic title for those who were fans of older titles like Unity, and others. So, the news will surely come as a delight.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage Will Now Release a Week Early
Announcing via Twitter, Ubisoft revealed the new release date along with Assassin’s Creed Mirage’s gold status. The title is now finally complete and we can’t wait to jump in as Basim and explore Baghdad. The release date has now been moved from October 12 to October 5.
According to older reports, Mirage was supposed to release in August 2023 but was internally delayed to October. Recent reports also suggested that it might even get pushed to 2024. However, Ubisoft has cleared all doubts by announcing the gold status and an improved release date.
Assassin’s Creed is Ubisoft’s crowning jewel, so it’s no wonder everyone is looking forward to Mirage. The recent AC games to be fair didn’t perform like the older titles, and as Mirage adopts the older titles it really is a game many are hyped for. Assassin’s Creed Mirage releases on October 5 for PlayStation 4|5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
