Asuka Kazama is the latest character to receive a gameplay trailer for Tekken 8. She is a returning character in the series, appearing in every game since Tekken 5. Alongside Asuka Kazama, Leroy Smith has also received a gameplay trailer. The trailer featured Asuka packing some mean punches and amazing combos against her opponents.

Asuka Kazama is in a long line of playable characters in Tekken 8 to receive a gameplay trailer. Previous characters that received gameplay trailers include Nina Williams, Jack-8, Paul Phoenix, and Marshall Law.

Asuka’s outfit has changed from her appearance in previous Tekken games as she now wears what seems to be a modern version of a schoolgirl outfit. Moreover, her combos and power attacks also seem to be much more brutal than ever which can make a fan-favorite in Tekken 8.

Asuka Kazama is part of the Kazama family, featured extensively in the Tekken series. As such, she is a close relative of Jin Kazama and Jun Kazama. Similarly, she has been trained in the Kazama Style Traditional Martial Arts.

Fans have reacted positively to the gameplay trailer of Tekken 8. So, we can expect to see more of these featuring new playable characters from the highly anticipated fighting game. The game is set for release on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. No official release date has been revealed but sometime between late 2023 to early 2024 is a high possibility.
