Even before the title’s release, Mundfish revealed that Atomic Heart will get multiple DLCs. And now after much speculation, they have revealed that the first DLC will come out later this year. The brief teaser announces the DLC and gives us a glimpse of a twisted and dark setting. However, no more details have been shared other than that.
Atomic Heart DLC Comes Out in the Summer of 2023
Mundfish has released a reveal trailer for the first Atomic Heart DLC. It will launch in the summer of 2023. According to the description:
Facility 3826 still has many undiscovered places… Take a look at just one of the extraordinary locations you will soon have to visit in the upcoming DLC for AtomicHeart!
We already knew Facility 3826 was huge and now even more new places will be playable thanks to the DLC. Here is the reveal trailer:
The content of the DLC so far is a mystery. But we know that Mundfish revealed that there are a total of 4 DLCs planned and each of them will focus on a narrative-driven single-player campaign. Also, as for how much each DLC will cost it is yet to be seen too.
Atomic Heart is undoubtedly one of the most surprisingly successful launches of the year and all for good reason. Unlike most games this year, it was well-optimized with stunning visuals, good mechanics, and a decent story. Also, it’s been just 2 months since Atomic Heart hit the market, so releasing a DLC this quickly is another win for the developers. Plus, they’ve also revealed that a sequel is planned for development.
