One of the finest superhero game trilogies ever made, the Batman: Arkham Trilogy is coming to Nintendo Switch. The series debuted over a decade ago with Batman: Arkham Asylum. Later adding to the story with Arkham City and Knight. Though 2013’s Arkham Origins is also considered canon it isn’t part of the trilogy.
Batman: Arkham Trilogy Releases in Fall 2023 for Nintendo Switch
Though a solid release date hasn’t been provided, Batman: Arkham trilogy comes to Nintendo Switch in the fall of this year. A new trailer has been revealed that includes a combo of definitive additions of the following titles:
- Batman: Arkham Asylum
- Batman: Arkham City
- Batman: Arkham Knight
You can watch the reveal trailer below:
Moreover, all extra content including all the DLCs for the included titles will be bundled. This is a pretty substantial thing as some of these DLCs are really worth playing. Additionally, Arkham Knights also allows you to play as Batman’s allies and foes including Nightwing, Batgirl, Red Hood, and Harley Quinn.
Also, notable is that this isn’t the first time an Arkham game is releasing on Nintendo. While they are appearing on the Switch for the first time, Arkham City had a Wii U release as well. All the Arkham games although similar in style have their unique nature. Asylum is the smallest of the bunch, City introduces Batmobile for the first time, and Knight is the most ambitious of all, with graphics that hold up well even today.
