Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition just got rated by ESRB. This year will mark 20 years since Ubisoft debuted its critically acclaimed franchise. Now, while the sequel still remains a no-show, at least the fans will have something to look forward to.
Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Announcement Could be Coming Soon
Now we can’t say how soon it’s releasing, but getting an ESRB rating means it might at least be getting announced soon. The original title released on PlayStation 2, Xbox, PC, and GameCube. So, one would expect the new edition with revamped graphics and other improvements.
Although at this point, we literally know nothing about the title, we could take a rough guess. As with all older games releasing on newer-gen hardware, we can expect 4K visuals, especially for the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Improved frame rate, better UI, and mechanics can also be expected. It could be pretty much like the MGS Master Collection (though it doesn’t have 4K) that’s releasing soon.
The version has been rated for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. When Beyond Good and Evil launched it took the industry by storm because it involved action, mystery, puzzle-solving, and more. And we hope Ubisoft does a great job with the Beyond Good and Evil 20th Anniversary Edition as well.
