Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will be present at this year’s Summer Games Fest as announced by CD Projekt RED. The developer recently took to Twitter to make the announcement. Phantom Liberty will be available to play at Play Days, an invite-only preview event at Summer Games Fest. So, this means media personnel as well as influencers will get to play the expansion.

Phantom Liberty is the first fully-fledged expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, and probably the only one. It will feature a spy-thriller story set in an entirely new section of Night City. As V, players will take on difficult missions full of espionage. Moreover, there will be a lot of new features in this expansion including new abilities, weapons, and technology. A teaser trailer for the expansion was revealed in September of last year. The trailer featured renowned actor Idris Elba as well as giving an idea of the overall plot of the expansion. Elba will play an FIA agent in the expansion.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty will only be available on the current-gen consoles as well as PC. As such, past-gen owners won’t be able to play the expansion. With the Cybperunk 2077 having a disastrous launch on old-gen consoles back in 2020, making the expansion available on current-gen consoles seems like a safe bet.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty Release Date

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is set for release on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC sometime in 2023.
