Yes, it’s not a drill, Dead Island 2 is finally releasing soon. The title has been in development for quite some time, and after multiple delays, it comes out this April. Ahead of the launch we previously found out the game’s unlockable achievements and now Dead Island 2’s file size and pre-load date have been revealed.
Dead Island 2 File Size is Not HELL-A Huge
The very reliable PlayStation Game Size has again revealed the file size and pre-load date for Dead Island 2 on PS4/PS5. With many new titles clocking up to more than 100 GB, Dead Island’s size is relatively smaller. The game will come in at 19.916 GB on the PS4 and 48.218 GB on the PS5. It is interesting, how huge of a file size difference it is between the current and old-gen consoles
Moreover, the pre-load date for the title has been set for April 19, 2 days before the actual release. And considering the game’s file size isn’t that huge, 2 days of pre-load is a decent bit of time. While we don’t have information on it so far, a similar size will be expected from the Xbox Series version to the PS5.
Dead Island 2 is shaping up to be a fine title from what we’ve seen so far. The new procedural FLESH system combined with all the new skills and weapons is truly looking promising. The game is currently available for pre-orders that grand additional content. There are different editions available at different prices and perks.
