Dead Space Remake was something we all wanted, and Motive Studio is finally delivering it. The game was officially announced last year, and last month, the developers held a showcase for the game. Journalists from various outlets were able to play the title for more than 3 hours, and some footage has been officially shared by them. And now almost 40 minutes of Dead Space Remake Gameplay has surfaced online.
Dead Space Remake Leaked Gameplay
A famous leaker Dusk Golem on ResetEra has shared videos that demonstrate the gameplay of the new Remake uploaded by a Youtube channel called “Gameplay Place”. The leaked videos feature more than 40 minutes of collective gameplay at 4K 60 FPS which you can see below:
The gameplay does look stunning with all those enhanced visuals and textures, especially in 4K. The 60 FPS also looks great and makes the movements buttery smooth. But you will need a system with some hefty specifications to run that setting, as we saw from the system requirements, which you can see here.
According to Golem on Resetera:
‘I have no idea if this was leaked, if press was allowed to release this, if it was press gameplay that someone just uploaded the whole provided gameplay for them to use, or what. It's definitely from the hands-on session press got earlier this month, but I kinda' have a gut feeling they weren't supposed to post 40 minutes of gameplay from the remake straight with no commentary, but its out there.
‘
'It's definitely a very extensive look at straight gameplay from the upcoming Dead Space Remake, I thought it deserved a thread of its own as it's a very good look at the game. All the gameplay is from early in the game, though of course with a straight 40 minute slice of the game, there are some spoilers for it.
‘
Of course, if you haven’t played the original and don’t wish to spoil the experience, you should probably skip these videos. But they give us an insight into what we can expect when the game drops, which looks amazing. Even the original voice actor for Clarke, the protagonist, Gunner Wright, is making a comeback, and the voice is as iconic as ever.
We are really hyped for the Dead Space Remake when it drops on January 27, 2023. The game will also feature some new features we haven’t seen in the original one. Some of them can be seen in the videos above. Dead Space Remake is set to launch on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
