It seems that with Diablo IV you’ll be spending a lot of time in hell to reach level 100. The latest entry in the Diablo series is all set to release in June 2023. Ahead of the launch, Blizzard Entertainment is holding another ‘Server Slam‘ beta for the title that goes live from May 12 to 14. And for those looking to grind their way into the title, you’ll require quite a huge number of hours.
Associate game director for Diablo IV, Joseph Piepiora has revealed it will take an average player a massive 150 hours to reach level 100. While this might be a letdown for some as most don’t have this much free time, Piepiora clearly states it’s for an average player. For those well versed with Diablo’s mechanics and scaling it’ll probably take a lot less than that.
Diablo IV’s Battle Pass Requires 80 Hours to Complete
Joseph Piepiora revealed earlier that it takes roughly 80 hours to complete Diablo IV’s battle pass as mentioned in the above Tweet. Talking to PC Gamer in an interview, he revealed the 80 hours requirement, also mentioning that it depends on playing style as well.
If you can’t wait for the game, joining the Server Slam beta is currently the best bet for you. It lets you max out at level 20, so you can get a good idea of how leveling works in Diablo IV. It also gives you certain rewards that will be carried over to the main game once it releases.
