The leaker, @ChisponV, claims to know what all the secret achievements mean but refuses to give away the details to prevent lore spoilers from spreading around. However, he did confirm the the The Ancient Gods Part 2 DLC will have “4 chapters (most likely)” and “make your own conclusions” ending.

Tougher Than Nails achievement gives us a major hint at the weapon that is being teased and whispered about in the DOOM community. The leaked achievement confirms that the Sentinel Hammer is coming to Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 2.

If you take a closer look at the history of Doom and Night Sentinels, you’ll find out that The Betrayer from DOOM 2016 was the only Night Sentinel who carried a hammer. So the presence of the Sentinel Hammer in Doom Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 2 may also hint at the return of The Betrayer.

Seige The Day achievement may hint at a level based off the Sentinel concept art. In fact, it may be an end game achievement but only time will tell what Seige The Day achievement holds.

DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 2 was first leaked when it was officially rated in Australia by the Communications Branch of the Australian Government. This was the first jab at the official existence of the game.

While ID Software has sealed lips on the subject of DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 2, we’re speculating a Summer 2021 release. The speculation is born from the fact that the Ancient Gods Part 1 was rated in September 2020 and released a month later, although it was officially revealed at Gamescom and had a release date before it got rated. Then there is the fact that DOOM Eternal: The Ancient Gods Part 1’s achievements were also leaked on Steam, just a week ahead of the launch.

The only thing different this time around is the fact that ID Software has made no official announcements, it’s all leaks. Hence, we’d like to give them the benefit of time and stand firm on our speculated Summer 2021 release.
