Early Build Footage of GTA 6 Allegedly Leaks on the Internet

It seems that early build footage of allegedly GTA 6 has leaked onto the internet. A user by the name of teapotuberhacker on GTAForums had linked a ZIP file which had 90+ videos of what they called GTA 6. The footage showcased an early build of the game which featured female and male playable characters. it also showcased a location that seems eerily similar to Vice City, a fictional representation of Miami.

Footage of this alleged GTA 6 has been shared all over the internet including Youtube and Twitter.

The above video shows a male protagonist in what looks to be a nightclub or a bar during a mission. They are being talked to by an NPC as well. In this clip, the subtitle placeholder refers to the playable character as Jason. The club seems to represent Malibu Club from Vice City, therefore, solidifying this leak.

In the above video, we see the female playable character who is looting a restaurant. They are looting together with what seems to be the male character of the previous video. Various files refer to the female playable character as Lucia. The animations and movements also seem to be well done.

One of the locations shown in the video is called Port Gelhorn. In addition to that, there is a messaging app called WhatsUp! obviously referring to real-life WhatsApp. Moreover, one of the leaked clips shows the game being tested on a PS4 dev kit. This can mean that GTA 6 will show up on last-gen consoles as well as new ones.

The characters being a male and a female was corroborated by a Bloomberg report before.

Take Two interactive or Rockstar still hasn’t put a DMCA complaint to any one of the videos or screenshots as of yet.
