We now have even more leaked footage of the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Codename Jade. The previously leaked footage of the game showed the gameplay of a mission in Codename Jade. But, the current leaks go into much more detail, as they show off the complete character customization aspects as well as some of the open world free roam and infiltration.
Assassin’s Creed Jade Exploration, Character Customization, and More
One video taken on iOS is over 20 minutes long and shows the character customization of Codename Jade. Players will be able to create their own characters, either male or female. While they will play as a different character in the prologue, they can customize their originally created one later in the game. The facial graphics of the characters look really well done especially on a mobile device. Later, we get the full gameplay of the mission that was in the previous Codename Jade leak.
More cutscenes show proper facial animations and movements which look like the game was made for PC. There wasn’t any voiceover which shows that it was a playtest along with the ”early version” tag on the top of the video. The players are then thrust into Yangzhou City which they can freely explore. A rendition of Ezio’s Family, the renowned theme of the series starting from Assassin’s Creed II plays while the player is exploring.
Another video which is unlisted on Youtube shows the infiltration aspect of the Codename Jade. The player is in the District Governor’s Residence to find and steal the Yan Chuan Permit. The gameplay is reminiscent of the newer Assassin’s Creed games starting from Origins, as well as the UI. The player is also seen riding a horse toward the end of the video after completing the objective.
The combat and assassinations seem to be properly done as well for a mobile game. Both videos show how Codename Jade would look when it releases. While there is no official release date, players can look forward to the amazing graphics and gameplay as seen in the leaked videos.
