Capcom during today’s Spotlight finally revealed the release date for Exoprimal. The game is supposed to be the next big release for Capcom after the Resident Evil 4 Remake. The brand-new IP seems to be a promising entry in the developer’s upcoming titles. Apart from this, the spotlight has also revealed new information on more prominent franchises like Monster Hunter Rise, Resident Evil, and others.
Exoprimal Release Date Set for July 14, 2023
With the Resident Evil 4 Remake launching in about two weeks’ time, Capcom already has Exoprimal ready for July. The Exoprimal release date has been set for July 14, 2023, just past the first half of 2023. While the game might look a bit like Capcom’s popular Dino Crisis series, it is an entirely new IP.
Exoprimal is set in the year 2040 when an outbreak has infested the world with dinosaurs. You’ll be put into powerful exosuits to help fight the dinosaurs and save humanity from a huge crisis. The primary game mode, Dino Survival, pits two teams of five players against one another in a variety of PvE and PvP tasks. Gamers will be sent to the location of the most recent dinosaur outbreak to complete certain objectives.
There will be an open beta test from March 17th to March 19th, before the launch of the game so you can also get a taste of the game before you buy the game.
According to what we have seen so far, the title seems like a decent new addition. It will also release on older-gen consoles and will be available for PlayStation 4, and 5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and S, and PC. It will also launch on Xbox Game Pass as a day-one release.
