Exoprimal is coming to Xbox Cloud Gaming as well as consoles according to its official page on the Xbox website. The page cites Console and Cloud as the platforms on which the game will be released in 2023. This would mean that if players purchase the game digitally then they can play the game on the Cloud as well.

Exoprimal on Xbox Cloud Gaming Via Digital Ownership?

The arrival of Exoprimal on the cloud via digital ownership is not unusual. Microsoft has said that they would include this feature before. Back in 2022, they had said that Xbox Cloud Gaming would support a player’s game library. This means that if a player owns a game digitally, they can play that game on the Cloud. At that time it was said that only ”select games” owned outside Xbox Game Pass would be eligible for this. But, there was no news of which games would be eligible for this feature until this Exoprimal listing. By including digitally owned games to play on the Cloud, it can make Xbox Cloud Gaming a very lucrative deal. Currently, only Game Pass titles are available for playing on the Cloud if one owns a Game Pass Ultimate membership.

In the case of Exoprimal, it hasn’t been announced for Xbox Game Pass yet. So, it could be that the Exoprimal’s could be the debut title for this new feature from Microsoft with other titles like this to follow.

Exoprimal is being developed and published by Capcom. The release is set for this year although a definitive date hasn’t been announced yet. It is a PvPvE-based third-person shooter in which players fight each other as well as dinosaurs to complete various objectives.
