Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds has finally received a gameplay trailer. In October, it was announced that the game would be getting an expansion soon, and now we finally have our very first look at it. It also comes with a brand new update that adds new features to the base game.
Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds
Ubisoft has revealed the trailer for the expansion and it features new locations and gameplay elements. The trailer sees the return of the main game’s protagonist Dani Rojas. The expansion seems to be taking a cosmic and extra-terrestrial route which is very new to the franchise. You can watch the full stream here:
The gameplay shows Dani in a new fractured world and has to find her way out of it. Rifts seem to be a vital part of the DLC as you’ll have to master them to escape the eerie world. The enemies, weapons, and animals are inspired by deadly crystals that seem to have infested the entire world as well.
The DLC will introduce completely new lore, gameplay challenges, and multiple player paths that you can take to beat the game. We also catch a glimpse of a new armor Dani dons in the game. Far Cry 6: Lost Between Worlds will be available December 6, 2022, on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Ubisoft Connect, Ubisoft+, and Epic Games Store. The expansion will cost €19.99.
More New Features
In addition to the expansion, Far Cry 6 is getting some more features as well. First of all, is the ‘New Game +’ mode that was previously missing. You can finally have your complete loadout and start the story all over again as you explore Yara. A new completionist feature has also been added that helps in the progression of your missions.
There are 4 new loadout swaps, providing you the ease of access during a fight. Your amigos can now finally travel in your vehicle. So, if you felt bad about your amigo following you as you drove across the map, you can finally get them aboard. You can play special missions in-game by yourself or with co-op.
And finally, there will be a free trial of the game. The trial will only unlock a certain part of the world. If you wish to buy the game after finishing the trial, you can continue your progress from there. These features will be available in-game starting today.
