Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2’s release is just around the corner. While it is currently in beta state, some future planned collaborations have already sprung on the internet. A CoD leaker TheGhostOfHope has revealed a list of football players coming to Modern Warfare 2. To further solidify, Insider Gaming has confirmed the leak too.
Football Players to Modern Warfare 2
The collaboration really doesn’t make perfect sense at first but considering the 2023 FIFA World Cup is a month away, makes it totally worth it. According to the leaker, the footballers would be coming as new operators. This could mean a World Cup event happening in the game.
Here is a complete list of all the planned footballers:
- Aksel
- Connor
- Klaus
- Luna
- Messi
- Neymar
- Pogba
- Roze
- Reyes
- Gramsci
According to Insider Gaming, the best way to see if a leak is legitimate or not is to check whether it has been added to the game files or not. While the files have been added to the game it isn’t necessary that adding names means they are coming as the operators. It could just be a part of an upcoming collaboration.
Call of Duty hasn’t exactly been unknown for collaborations either. Recently, we got a Godzilla vs King Kong collab added to CoD Warzone that too was really fun. This could indicate that the leak is true and that we are getting some form of football collaboration in Modern Warfare 2.
