505 Games through today’s State of Play has revealed a Ghostrunner 2 demo. We found out about the release date just a month ago. And while there is still over a month in the game’s release, a demo will be out today.
Ghostrunner 2 Demo Announced at SOP
The State of Play brought a brand new trailer for Ghostunner 2 which primarily focused on announcing the demo. The demo is now live for all major platforms and lets you experience the upgraded Jack in action. You can watch the trailer here:
The trailer is a mix of cinematics and gameplay, and they both look stunning. We see Jack getting upgraded and built stronger than ever before. And we do see the upgrades come into play in the rest of the trailer. The mechanics look brilliant with great fluidity and movement. We hope the optimization is as good too.
While the game does get plenty of upgrades, it’ll make you feel very familiar if you’ve played the first. However, you do get a bike now for added traversal. The Cyberpunk city also looks wonderful in all its glory. In short, from the new trailer and our preview, the title seems to have everything that made the first one good and more.
However, the rest will be seen when the final version comes out. Ghostrunner 2 comes out on October 26th for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. The pre-orders are currently live.
