The much-awaited God of War Ragnarok new game plus update is finally available. The title launched without the new game plus or photo mode, which was later added in December. Now the latest update brings the new mode so you can finally jump back as the God of War to restart your adventure in the Nine Realms.
God of War Ragnarok Update Brings New Game Plus, New Equipment, Enchantments, and More
PlayStation has detailed all the new additions coming with the update along with the God of War Ragnarok new game plus mode. So, you can jump right into a new game with all the equipment from the last time you beat the game. Now, for those of you who have beaten the main game, you can jump right into the new game plus. There will also be increased level caps for both Kratos and his enemies.
The update also brings new equipment, armor, and enchantments. Following is the list of them all:
Armors and Weapons (Each armor has its own unique perks)
- Armor of the Black Bear
- Spartan Armor
- Ares Armor
- Zeus Armor
- Spartan Aspis – New Shield
Some existing armors have also been remixed for new appearances.
Enchantments
- Gilded Coins – Engraving and Badge Enchantments
- Berserker Soul Drops – Stat Boost Enchantments
- Burdens
Other New Changes
New progression paths have also been added to increase your stats. A new Expanded Niflheim Arena has been added where you can fight enemies either as Kratos or Atreus. You can also choose companions to fight alongside you. There is also a new Black and White render mode. Moreover, there are other smaller adjustments.
