We finally have a release date for God of War Ragnarok. The sequel to the 2018 God of War is set for a release on November 9 this year. Along with the release date, Playstation revealed a new CG trailer featuring Kratos and Atreus along with details of the Collector’s Edition.

God of War Ragnarok: Release Date At Last
There has been a lot of speculation within the gaming community regarding the release date of God of War Ragnarok, especially in the past week. Moreover, Santa Monica studio had been relatively quiet regarding the development of the game and fans were eager to know about the state of the game. There had been a rumor floating around that the release date and collector’s edition reveal were to be shown via live stream on June 30. Adding to that, it was also rated in Korea. But ultimately it wasn’t shown and fans became restless. Not only that, some Santa Monica Studios staff even received harassment from certain fans. Cory Barlog, in response to this, asked fans to stay patient.
Now, with this official announcement, we can finally be excited for the release of Ragnarok this November.
The God Of War game released in 2018 was a direct continuation of Kratos’s story from the first three games. But this time, the game was based on Norse Mythology instead of Greek Mythology. Additionally, we were also introduced to his son, Atreus the game, who also possessed god-like powers. God Of War Ragnarok is a sequel to the 2018 game and will focus on Ragnarok, a mythical event that will bring about the end of days and the death of a number of Norse Gods.
