It seems that God of War Ragnarok‘s unfinished photo mode has been unlocked. Modder Speclizer unlocked the game’s photo mode and showcased its various options on his Twitter channel. Speclizer also previously datamined the canceled multiplayer mode of The Last of Us 2.
God of War Ragnarok’s Unfinished Photo Mode
Speaking to Eurogamer, Speclizer said that the photo mode is more or less the same as the 2018 God of War game. There are a few noticeable differences though including the change in the UI and the ability to alter Mimir’s expressions. It is seen that Mimir has the same number of expressions as Kratos and Atreus which is 16. The photo mode in the 2018 game could only alter Kratos and Atreus’ expressions. We can expect much more changes to the photo mode as it is still unfinished.
When Will the Photo Mode Be Added?
Developer Santa Monica Studios has confirmed that God of War Ragnarok will receive the photo mode very soon after launch. They confirmed it through a tweet and that more details about it will be revealed soon. The photo mode allows players to take amazing shots of the world of a game. God of War Ragnarok is no exception to that as it features a beautifully designed world in which you can visit all Nine Realms in the game.
God of War Ragnarok was recently released to critical acclaim worldwide. As the sequel to the 2018 game, God of War Ragnarok has Kratos delving further into the mysteries of Norse mythology. Moreover, Ragnarok focuses on the mythical event of its name, which is said to signal the end of the Norse gods and the world.
