James Sigfield, the leaker who correctly leaked all the info surrounding Gotham Knights’ reveal and gameplay has confirmed WB Montreal have DLC planned for at least a year after Gotham Knights hit stores.

Sigfield made a point to mention the Batfamily, so it’s a safe guess to assume that the DLC will either build on the storyline of existing characters or introduce a new character from the Batfamily. So far WB Montreal has confirmed that Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin will be the playable characters in the game.

The original information is from the DCEU leak subreddit.

Catwoman, Huntress, Black Bat, Oracle, Lucius Fox and Azreal are all possible contenders for the upcoming DLC. Any villains or anti-heroes are currently out of the question. However, Harley Quinn may be an outlier due to her popularity and modern association with the Batfamily.

About Gotham Knights

Gotham Knights was revealed last year at E3 as the spiritual successor to the Batman Arkham series. In the story, Batman is dead. It is now up to the Batman Family – Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin – to protect Gotham City, bring hope to its citizens, discipline to its cops, and fear to its criminals. Each character in the game has a unique skill set and abilities. You must evolve into the new Dark Knight and save Gotham from chaos.

One of the outstanding gameplay features of Gotham Knights is the fact that the whole campaign could be played either solo or in a two-player co-op. The satisfying combat, sneaky gameplay, gliding and ziplining are all back and improved. Despite the absence of Batman, the game recieved an overwhelmingly positive response. Fans were expecting to see more of Gotham Knights at E3 2021 but the game did not make an appearance at the event.

In fact, the game has been underground since it’s reveal. The leaked Gotham Knights DLC is the only proof that the game is still in existance. Gotham Knights is expected to come out sometime in 2022.
