Hideo Kojima has further teased his upcoming game by posting several logos on his Twitter account. Along with the logo reveals, Kojima posted the caption- ”Start your journey”. It is unsure what the caption implies but it may be related to any one of two possible games Kojima Productions has in development.

The two games currently in development at Kojima Productions are Project Overdose and Death Stranding 2. Overdose is said to be a new horror title, the first for Kojima after the canceled “Silent Hills’ in 2015. One of the logos Hideo Kojima posted appeared during the reveal of Elle Fanning and Shiori Kutsuna. It is unsure which of the two projects Fanning and Kutsuna are involved with.

Norman Reedus, the actor for Death Stranding protagonist Sam Porter Bridges, previously confirmed that the game was in early development. And since then, there is barely any news of the sequel. The information getting revealed seems to be related to Overdose mostly.

Coincidentally, Project Overdose also features Margaret Qualley, who appears in Death Stranding as well. This was confirmed when screenshots of the game were leaked on the internet last month. So, it might be possible Qualley will appear as a character in both Overdose and Death Stranding 2.

When Will Hideo Kojima’s New Game Be Revealed?

It is currently unknown when any one of Kojima’s new games will be revealed but with The Game Awards coming up, chances are we will get a glimpse of them during the event. We will have to wait and see if and what Hideo Kojima shows during The Game Awards. Perhaps, we might even get an announcement of both Overdose and Death Stranding 2, although the latter one is unlikely.
