EA and Ascendant Studio’s new game Immortals of Aveum has just received its first gameplay overview. The title was announced and revealed through a world premiere trailer at The Game Awards 2022. Last week we got the reveal trailer and a few days later, EA has revealed the first gameplay overview for Immortals of Aveum.

Immortals of Aveum Gameplay Reveals a Fast and Fluid Magical Gameplay

Spell-casting seems to be the core of Immortals of Aveum. Combining the magic with fast and fluid first-person gameplay, the title seems promising. It doesn’t look the like the usual generic first-person shooter titles due to the integration of magic and exciting weaponry. You can watch the trailer below:

We also get a look at the character customization and the upgradable weapons. The weapons upgrade method looks very reminiscent of the God of War series. The cinematics and character models also look pretty promising so far. Moreover, the gameplay feels like Bioshock but with some extra bit of magic, which isn’t bad.

The game also has a ton of unlockable stuff that will be useful during combat. You can unlock and upgrade a wide variety of Spells and Talents across three colors of magic. Discover, upgrade, and craft hundreds of pieces of magical gear. Then synergize your playstyle across all three forces of magic and become Aveum’s most powerful Triarch Magnus.

Immortals of Aveum is set in a brand-new fantasy world but the team behind the title is a strong one so we have high expectations. It will release on July 20, 2023, for the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
