Yes. Warzone 2.0 features cross-platform. You can play with people on other platforms just like you could in the original Warzone. Crossplay has been one of the major selling points of Warzone and now Warzone 2.0. The ability to play with anyone regardless of what platform they are on is both liberating and fun.

Can Every Platform Play With Each Other?

Call of Duty: Warzone 2.0 was released across all major platforms on November 16, 2022. The list includes:

  • PlayStation 5

If you want to invite your friend from another platform to your lobby, you will first have to add them, which we will discuss in the next section of the article. After you have them on your friends list, the process is pretty much self-explanatory. Invite them and start looking for noobs to wreck.

No, you don’t need to enable cross-play in Warzone 2.0. The reason for it is that it is enabled by default regardless of the platform you are on. It doesn’t matter if you belong to PC MasterRace or you are team console, you simply have to add your friends and hop into a match.

Where there are people who are happy that they get to play with their friends they are other people who complain about having to play against PC players because they have an inherent advantage due to keyboard and mouse. Some suggest that it should be off by default but the majority doesn’t seem to have a problem with it.

Some take it as a challenge but if you are not that hardcore of a gamer then you can simply turn it off. Let’s look at how you can turn crossplay off on different platforms.

Team Blue aka PlayStation players can turn off crossplay from within the game itself. All you have to do is:

Is it Worth Playing Crossplay on Warzone 2.0?

If you ask me, I would say it is 100% worth it. In this day and age, it is already hard to resonate with people’s opinions. We are familiar with the console vs PC war and how it has existed since the dawn. This is a chance to turn over a new leaf and just enjoy the game rather than landing blows at people just because they prefer a different platform than you.

While we can’t bring everyone to the same page, we surely can bring everyone to the same lobby with Warzone 2.0’s crossplay feature. Hey! if you don’t like it, you can always turn it off, unless you are on PC because in that case, you are stuck. Tough luck.

With this, our story about Warzone 2.0 and its cross-platform features comes to an end. Let us know what you think in the comments below. Be sure to mention if you think we missed something. While you are at it, be sure to check out more content on Warzone 2.0.
