Lenovo is set to enter the handheld gaming market with its Lenovo Legion Go. The handheld market has become really competitive with the likes of Steam Deck and ROG Ally leading the line. Now, Windows Report has revealed the complete specification and price of the handheld.
Lenovo Legion Go Will Be Priced at $799
Windows Report claims that their source has gotten hold of an official press release with the specs. Just like Asus’s ROG Ally, Legion Go features the AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor based on Zen4 architecture. For starters, the handheld will reportedly be revealed on September 1st.
Specifications
As stated earlier the Legion Go features a Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor with AMD RDNA graphics. It features an 8.8-inch QHD (2560 x 1600) display with a 16:10 aspect ratio. The refresh rate has been set at 144Hz. It will also feature removable controllers like the Nintendo Switch.
The screen is bigger than both the ROG Ally and Steam Deck with higher resolution as well. It also features 16GB LPDDR5X running at an impressive 7500Mhz. Multiple storage options include 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 Tb Gen 4 NVMe drive.
The battery is also reportedly bigger than the competition with a 2-cell 49.2WHr. Also features super rapid charge with a 65w USB C adapter. However, the screen size is bigger too, so that’s something to keep in mind.
There’s a good selection of ports too including a 3.5mm headphone jack, 2 x USB-C (DP 1.4 and PD 3.0), and micro SD card reader. Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 will also be integrated. A plethora of accessories will launch with the handheld as well.
