Lies of P director has revealed there are three different endings to the game. This is usually done to make the game replayable and still feel fresh. It also forces the gamers to play the games till the end. Many successful games do this including The Witcher 3, Elden Ring, and more.

Lies of P Needs to be Played Multiple Times to Get the Different Endings

Talking to DualShockers at Gamescom 2023, director Choi Ji-won spilled the details of the title’s multiple endings. He states that the game has been made while keeping replayability in mind. He recommends multiple playthroughs and playing the title till the very very end. He stated:

One thing we planned in advance is that you wouldn’t want to just play it once. If you have only played it once, then it’s not complete. We really highly recommend you play it several times. Basically there are three endings. But we really, really, really recommend playing the ending until the very, very, very end

The multiple endings have been made possible through a ‘lying system’ in the game. Those familiar with Pinnochio’s will know the importance of ‘lies’ in his story. The different final ending of the title will be the consequence of the lying system.

Neowiz Games’ Souls Like Lies of P is set to release on September 19th. It will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. A playable demo is also available.
