Lies of P is all set to release fall this year thanks to the official announcement at the Summer Game Festival today. The upcoming action RPG from Round8 studio and Neowiz Games takes a dark twist on Pinnochio’s story. Apart from the release date a new trailer has also been revealed.
Lies of P Releases in Fall 2023 on All Platforms
Lies of P is slated to release on September 19, 2023. The release date was leaked a couple of hours prior to the event via an Amazon Japan official listing and now it’s confirmed. Earlier this year, an August release window was announced but it seems there has been a bit of a delay. You can watch the new trailer below:
A slight concern for the title will be that fall is the same time Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 swings into action. And if Spider-Man’s release date clashes with Lies of P’s, there could be consequences. Plus Mortal Kombat 1 also comes out the same month. But, if the title is as good as the trailers show, it’ll do just fine. However, it is better to wait for the release than to judge at this stage.
Lies of P will release on multiple platforms including the PlayStation 4, and 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It will also be a day 1 release on the Xbox and PC Game Pass. Also, a demo is now available for all platforms. The twist it takes on Pinnochio’s story is certainly interesting and we can’t begin our quest to find Mr. Geppetto.
