Sega has just dropped a brand new Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name trailer. The developer update gives us a better look at the story and the gameplay of the upcoming release. The latest in the Yakuza spinoff series first got a trailer in June and now we have another comprehensive look at the gameplay.

Director of Ry Uga Gotoku Studio, Masayoshi Yokoyama states that the overwhelming response to the first trailer forced them to reveal a new one this soon. Otherwise, it was planned for just before the release of the title. The trailer and the game focus on Kazuma Kiryu’s story providing the best insight into his personality.

The developer update also goes in-depth about mechanics, combat, and customization. The 2 fighting styles, a new style of cabaret club, and arena combine to make Like a Dragon Gaiden a title we are really looking forward to. Moreover, there are also some new fun additions like Karaoke, Go Carting, Mini Golf, and even Sonic and more retro games.

To make things even better, a special trial version of Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is also included with The Man Who Erased His Name. Pre-ordering the game will also get you a free legendary fighter pack. The worldwide release is all set for November 9th, 2023.
