Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name is the next entry in the Yakuza spin-off franchise. After many leaks and rumors regarding the release date, it has now been confirmed. The Summer Game Fest confirmed that SEGA’s next title will release on November 9, 2023.

Like A Dragon Gaiden’s title, screenshots, release date, and description got listed on the PlayStation Store price tracker before the event begin. Thanks to the SGF today, everything leaked is now official. Additionally, a gameplay trailer has also been dropped:

The gameplay looks one of the most refined out of the previous Yakuza franchise games. It seems to feature everything good about the franchise and adds to it with improved mechanics and visuals. Also, the latest title brings back the brawler action style back which was replaced with a turn-based combat style.

The official description promises endless entertainment with brutal fights and interesting side missions. You’ll be able to use two different fighting styles namely; Yakuza, and Agent. Yakuza style unleashes wildly aggressive moves powered by Kiryu’s unparalleled strength and flair. While Agent delivers blows with absolute speed and precision while using an array of high-tech gadgets.

Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name comes out on November 9, 2023. It will be available on all major platforms including PlayStation 4, 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Pre-ordering the title will grant you The Legendary Fighter Pack.
