The ever-so-popular mode is making a comeback in the form of Modern Warfare 3 Zombies. The mode was skipped in MW2 and was hinted for MW3 in a very interesting matter. If you texted a specific number with the word ‘Zombies’, you were texted back with audio hinting at the mode.
Modern Warfare 3 Zombies Trailer Gives an Insight Into The Mode’s Lore
While the mode was teased with the audio message, there was no official confirmation. The official word was made when Modern Warfare 3’s open beta was announced. It was also revealed that this will be the first time Zombies will be a completely open-world experience.
Now, the new MW3 Zombies trailer explores the lore of the mode and gives an insight into the open-world experience. We also see some familiar faces joining Task Force 141. You can watch the trailer below:
However, this is just a cinematic trailer and we don’t see the actual gameplay. And without seeing the mode in action, we can’t really tell how it will play out considering now it’s open-world. Nonetheless, we are excited about the return of the mode.
Modern Warfare 3 is set to launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on November 10, 2023.
