The latest patch for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor has greatly stabilized the framerate on all the platforms. The update which rolled out recently now reaches a solid 60 FPS on both consoles and PC. The game had struggled to maintain a stable 60 FPS during its launch but now it seems that the problems have been resolved with the 3.5 update.
EA had previously addressed the performance issues on Jedi: Survivor on PC, committing to fix the issues. Now, it seems that the performance issues have been mostly fixed. Youtube channel @ElAnalistaDelBits showcased the pre and post-patch which shows a noticeable improvement in framerate stability.
Jedi: Survivor Framerate After Patch
For the Xbox Series X, the performance mode now hits 60 FPS constantly with just a few drops here and there compared to it hitting as low as 49 FPS in the launch version. The quality mode also stays at a constant 30 FPS. The Series S also reaches a stable 30. The PS5’s performance also had the same low FPS drops as the Series X pre-patch but now it stays solid at 60 FPS in performance mode. The quality mode also stays a constant 30 like the Series X. The PC version also sees a noticeable performance improvement with the game running between 80-90 FPS on an RTX 4080 and i9 12900 K processor. Before the patch, the game would barely go above 70 FPS and would go in the lower 50s.
Jedi: Survivor still needs a few more updates to make sure it is in the best state possible. But, the 3.5 update is a step in the right direction for Respawn and EA.
