The date of the next Nintendo Direct Mini has been revealed to be June 28 by the company. Additionally, it will be broadcasted on the company’s Youtube channel at 6 am PT. Their official Twitter account made the announcement. The Direct Mini will feature a selection of games published by Nintendo‘s third-party partners.
Nintendo Direct Mini: What To Expect?
According to the official Twitter account, the Nintendo Direct Mini will run for roughly 25 minutes. The most recent Direct, which took place in February, included only first-party titles. For the Direct tomorrow on June 28, we can expect some very good third-party games. Moreover, we can’t expect Xenoblade Chronicles 3 as it had its own dedicated Direct last week. The Direct showed off 20 minutes of gameplay of Xenoblade Chronicles 3.
We could expect games like Persona and Red Dead Redemption 2 to make an appearance during the Direct. According to Nacho Requena of Manual magazine, he previously announced on his Twitch stream a Direct taking place on June 28. As translated by VGC, Requena reportedly said, “We should have a Nintendo Direct this coming Tuesday”. Besides that, he said that a Persona game would also be shown. He also stated that he doesn’t know which one.
Again, he said, “I’ve also been told there will be another game that has been available for some time on other platforms… it’s been available for four years now.” Red Dead Redemption 2 was released in 2018, so this could point to that game. Stephen Totilo of Axios also said that he heard Red Dead Redemption 2 was being made for the Switch and Switch Pro back in August of 2021.
With all these rumors, we can’t be sure of what to expect in the upcoming Nintendo Direct Mini. But we can be sure that it will only be for third-party games. Maybe the Persona and Red Dead Redemption 2 rumors might be true as well. It will all be unveiled tomorrow at 6 AM PT.
