Starbreeze Entertainment has revealed a full 1-year roadmap for Payday 3 and it’s really interesting. It seems the devs are looking to support the game for a long time. The roadmap shows 4 Payday 3 DLCs planned for a complete year.
Payday 3 Will Release 4 DLCs in One Year
In an interview with Prima Games, Head of Community at Starbreeze Entertainment, Almir Listo revealed the first-year plan. The game isn’t even out yet and Starbreeze is already targeting long-term support for the title. In short, just from now till next year, PayDay 3 will have 4 different DLCs.
The DLCs are called:
- Syntax Error
- Boys in Blue
- The Land of the Free
- Fear and Greed
In addition, there will be many seasonal events, playable characters, an Unreal Engine 5 update, and a bunch of new content coming our way too. Listo stated that their target is to make the players come back to the game again and again. He said:
So first one is going to pop in winter, second one in spring, third one in summer and last one in the fall. So I’m going to keep people coming back. Yeah, precisely. And that’s going to be the year one. And then we’re going to have the year two, the year three. however long we choose to continue, but I think, you know, with Payday 2 as well.

Payday 3 is set to launch on September 21st, 2023. It will be available on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. And with more content already announced, we are pumped for the title.
